I may be dating myself but I remember that song really well. It expressed such a deep yearning. I think we all want to experience true love. But what is true love? Some say sex, some say a feeling, some say an action.
God says, "Me" ….
The song says I want you to show me.
Jesus did
One of the theologians I learned about in seminary said the whole of God’s message could be summed up in this phrase.
"Jesus loves me this I know." Well I may not know Jack!
But today I know that Jesus loves me and it makes life in this crazy mixed world viable
