continued loss of life

my heart is breaking right now for the incredible loss of life that is unfolding around the world.

the beheadings in iraq, the civilians death in iraq, suicide bombings in israel, missile attacks in gaza, the genocide in sudan again.

how can the church respond? casting crowns says if we are his hand why aren’t his hands moving?

how can i respond? i admit it feels so overwhelming and i feel so inadequate to respond to the total disregard for human life coming at me across the television screen. but i can’t ignore it.

right now the best i can do i pray. pray for the families and the people sucked into the carnage. pray that god will show me how to respond.
